Just wanted to let you all know that I booted up the game as normal and jumped into the intro area and tested out the Steam Decks controls and a PS4 controller. They seem to work just fine. No drops in FPS. A solid 60. Graphics look great on default settings. I have not played the entire game on the Steam Deck. Just part of the first stage. The game is Playable/Verified at least to me.
